Endoscopy and Colonoscopy medical needs paper

A paper entitled “Medical needs related to the endoscopic technology and colonoscopy for colorectal cancer diagnosis” has been recently published at BMC Cancer (doi: 10.1186/s12885-021-08190-z)

This work describes medical needs and challenges identified through a series of interviews and surveys with endoscopists. Needs for better polyp detection, computer aided diagnosis (CAD) software and operational/physical limitations are analysed in this contribution.
