The Centro de Cirugía de Mínima Invasión Jesús Usón (CCMIJU), a member of the PICCOLO consortium, presented an oral communication at the XXVth Congress of the Spanish Society for Surgical Research (SEIQ 2019), last 12-13 December in Barcelona.

The oral communication, entitled Do gastroenterologists fully rely on new photonics technologies for the diagnosis of colorectal cancer? from the authors J.F. Ortega-Morán, J. Bote, JB. Pagador, M.R. López-Lozano, F. Soria, J. González-Sánchez, F.M. Sánchez-Margallo presented a study that collected the opinion of  35 gastroenterologists and 11 residents about this new endoscopic system, and mainly focused on analysing the real confidence they have in using it in the future.

More than 500 people participated at the Congress.
