In the PICCOLO project’s second all-partner meeting, an engaging discussion was had on topics such as Optical Coherence Tomography specifications, how to combine OCT with Multiphoton Tomography and fluorescence imaging, and results obtained so far. Fitting this functionality in an endoscope is no easy task, and requires significant planning and resources. A review of the expected animal and human tissue measurements was also made, making sure to abide by all ethical regulations, with our clinical partners to inform patients of what the procedure is in advance of any treatment, and obtain consent for analysis.
